Ahd Kamel is a Saudi actress and filmmaker. She-s known for her roles in the BAFTA-nominated film, Wadjda (2014) and BBC2/Netflix-s Collateral (2018). She-s also written and directed two award-winning short films, -The Shoemaker- and Sanctity- (now playing on Netflix in MENA). She recently appeared in Amazon-s -All the Old Knives- and on Hulu-s season 3 of Ramy. Today, Ahd is back in the director-s chair as she shoots her feature film -My Driver - I.- Nostalgically set in Jeddah in the 80s and 90s, it-s a heartfelt coming of age story about a young girl and her lifelong bond with her Sudanese driver.
