Dr. Rasha Shalaby is a molecular microbiologist with more than ten years of research, teaching, and diagnostic experience in Egypt and the USA. She currently holds a position as a lecturer of Microbiology and Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine, Galala University, Egypt. She has obtained her M.B.Ch.B. and MSc degrees in Microbiology and Immunology from the Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University, Egypt. Afterward, she was competitively awarded the prestigious Fulbright Fellowship to pursue her Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA
